Jack, a final-year university student, will assume the roles of (DoP) Director of Photography and Sound operator in the production of the 2023 Social realism film, ‘Back To Your Roots.’ With a robust passion for filmmaking and a professional background that includes work on various short films, documentaries, and serving as the drone operator for Ed Hardy’s Winter Collection Advert, Jack is committed to elevating his craft to new heights. His versatile skills and unwavering enthusiasm will be harnessed to ensure the film reaches its full potential.

Erick Otieno
Erick serves as the film's writer and director, overseeing the entire creative process from script to screen. Throughout the film, he actively engages in communication and collaboration with the Director of Photography to develop a harmonious shot list and a complementary storyboard. Erick, in conjunction with the producer, also participates in the casting process to optimize its efficiency. His duties extend to defining the film's scope and conducting thorough research to maintain the story's relevance and authenticity. Additionally, Erick takes charge of shaping the film's visual identity and ensuring that everyone involved shares a common vision right from the outset.

Camryn Santana
Camryn will be the executive producer and line producer in the speculative film Back To Your Roots(2023). She is a passionate filmmaker who loves working behind the scenes to make films come together and enjoys representing unnoticed people and situations to the public. Camryn understands the importance of organisation in the filming workplace and has experience in production phases of filming. Her latest short-film documentaries Life after Uni (2023), and Famallama(2023) are just some examples of her work with directing, producing and camera operating. Both films have gotten excellent reviews. Camryn will be assisting Jack Nicholson with camera operating as well throughout the making of this film.
